It sucked bad when games like that started late on the east coast.  I lived through that in college and I'd rather have the earlier starts although I still like to watch primetime TV.

Yeah the fact that I went to a World Series game in St. Pete last year and it didn't start until 8:45 was rough. I've had to get use to the East Coast start time which I'm still not wild that they consider prime time 8 pm instead of seven but i'm done with that argument. But afternoon post-season is great and it goes away once the World Series starts.

We need to chop out one time zone from the US.  There's no need for four, we can get by with 3.  We should combine the Mountain and Pacific time zones.

I think that depending on where you are it should be either Central or Pacific thus eliminating the Mountain time zone, with my argument being part of Nebraska and the Dakota's are part of the Mountain time zone. Thank you and good night. And day time playoff baseball during the week which other sport puts their postseason during the work week?

I love Ozzie as a manager for the White Sox although I don't follow that team.  We need some emotion from some managers once in awhile.

Personally I love when the White Sox-Twins hook up because Gardy and Ozzie are two interesting personalities.

My wife and myself were Cubs fans until we got the Rockies in '93.

On another note, a 108 year old record was broken by Iricho: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=290913313

Nine straight seasons of 200 hits for Irichio which is pretty remarkable.

Two more games until the HHH MetroDome and Twins are together.
