The Pac-12's options for expanding is almost nil without UT & OU and I don't see that happening ever.

Well, like the other conferences, if they choose to expand, they'll have to do so knowing it'll be less than marquee names that they will have to take. There just aren't any big time programs right now looking to move.

Didnt OU already try to join the PAC and get turned down? They might change their mind if the conditions were right, but getting I couldnt see OU and tu joining because of OSU, Tech and Baylor.

You don't think Texas had something to do with.  They are going to milk this lhn as long as they can then head to the PAC along with OUT and who ever they want to go with them

OU only got turned down by the Pac when the Pac realized OU was using them for positioning and politics. Before that, OU's option to go to the Pac was legit and a real possibility. With or without UT. The problem is, they see the benefit of being with UT.

That is pretty much what I heard from the Pac's side of things at that time.
