2010 March Madness
« on: March 18, 2010, 09:44:36 PM »
No big deal, I called the Murray State game! :)

KSU is easily looking like the best team to play so far today.  Baylor had a little struggle with SHSU

Of the first 8 games, K-State's was the only one that wasn't an upset or near-upset.

I've got them with KU in the final four.

It's a possibility, as is losing to BYU. I wasn't as impressed with BYU today as I expected to be. Syracuse will depend largely on whether or not they get their big guy back.

The Big East is now 1-2 with the only win being an overtime squeaker over Robert Morris.

I've never before found so much enjoyment in watching Mizzou cause turnovers and turn them into points. :)

Clemson has hit 8/13 threes so far this half, really the only thing I see that has kept them in the game.  Hopefully they cool off in the 2nd half and Mizzou can take over.  This is the fastest I've seen Mizzou play all season and I love it.

Besides causing turnovers, Mizzou caused 3 fouls apiece on two of Clemson's starters. I hope that takes away some players for them in the 2nd half.

Im doing pretty good in my bracket, but I did pick Siena today.  And I could have sworn I choose MIZZ but I guess not.  Damn.

Still in the top 5% though! :)

Georgetown is the only bad loss I have in my office pool bracket. One Elite 8 team out.

Well, you and I are both 14-12 now...lol.  I'm missing 1 more than you on the 16 & 8 lines though as mentioned in another post I picked Texas to snap out of it for the tourney.  DOH.

Oh and congrats to Mizzou & aTm joining KSU, Kansas, & Baylor in the second round.  Go Cowboys even though I picked you to lose in my bracket, I'll still root for ya!

Texas Aggies > Utah Aggies

With their wins today, A&M and Pitt are now the only two schools that have won at least one game in the tournament the past 5 years.

lol, damn. Glad to have you around BS. It makes me feel better.

I am missing 2 sweet 16's, no elite 8's and no final fours. :)

And I'd be fine there if the Big East would live up to its freaking reputation!

Right now I'm tied for #1 in my pool of 39 on ESPN.  3 of my Sweet 16 teams are gone.

I spoke to soon. Stupid Villanova. Did I mention I'm really hating the Big East right about now?

I dropped quickly after some of my losses last night. lol, I had Villanova in the championship game with Kansas.

I promise after day 1 I'd have changed it after seeing how they, and the rest of the Big East, was playing.

4.8 million peeps filled out a bracket on ESPN's website.  There are ZERO perfect brackets going.

My Final 4 was Syracuse, Ohio St, Kentucky & freakin Villanova.  My first instinct said Baylor but I talked myself out of that.
