How college recruiting translates to NFL draft
« on: February 26, 2010, 03:47:28 AM »
I've always argued that stars(to some degree) do matter. Now this isn't the college game, but the percentage of each speaks volumes. Yes, more 3-4 stars may be drafted each year, but the percentage on the amount of those players is significantly higher. I had to redo the chart so it'd work on this forum. This also only overs the first 3 rounds.

NO. in each class | No. drafted in '08 | Percent drafted
5* |         25-30          |            12             |        40-48
4* |      275-325         |            30             |          9-11
3* |      700-800         |            29             |          3.6
2* |    1600-1800       |            17             |    Less than 1
