Today, they died by the 3.  When you shoot 23 times, while making only 3...you lived and died by the 3.

'Cats put a whoopin' on the Cowboys in the quarterfinals. The score was 51-26 at the half, with Samuels scoring 21 of those. K-State lead by as many as 30 in the second half, never by less than 19. Anderson scored 9 in the first half.  OSU threw in some threes in the second half, but none of that really mattered. On to the semis.

Off. reb for KSU: 12
Def. reb for OSU: 20

Def. reb for KSU: 29
Off. reb. for OSU: 5

KSU 20 assists on 28 made FGs.

Samuels: 27 pts, 10 reb

The 'Cats have earned their first Big 12 Championship Game berth. Exciting game to the end with Baylor, 82-75.

Sutton stepped up with 14 points and 14 rebounds
Pullen 26 pts
Clemente 24 pts, 7 assists

KSU v. KU for the Big 12 tournament crown!

No offense Lynch but I was kind of pulling for Baylor to win the whole thing. Besides being the little guy they are the most exciting team to watch that I've seen all year. But good luck against KU.

I'm certainly not offended. I like Baylor's team. I'm a little skeptical of Drew. He seems to have developed a reputation among the conference coaches of not being entirely on the up-and-up.

I think Baylor and K-State are very similar teams. They're lead by their guards, but they have some big athletes up front. K-State doesn't, however, have anyone as big and athletic as Udoh.

Yeah Udoh is a stud. From Edmond, Ok. and nobody here recruited him.

Yeah Udoh is a stud. From Edmond, Ok. and nobody here recruited him.

They mentioned last night that he was from Bill Self's hometown, and Self missed him completely.

After a slow start K-State turned it up to end the half.    Good thing too.  I put money on KSU and need them to cover the spread.

For all the close games already today, K-State has done what it needs to. They got up by 26, but allowed UNT to bring it back to 14. Pullen came back in and the lead spread, again.

K-State out-fouled UNT 25-17
K-State had 10 blocked shots in the game.

While BYU went into double overtime, K-State played 12 players, 11 of whom scored.
