Obama at Texas A&M
« on: October 16, 2009, 11:48:06 PM »
Today obama joined Bush Sr at Texas A&M for a speech about community service. I was surprised that obama kept politics out of it. As much as I despise obama, I think he did a great job today and he even made a stop at a dining hall on campus and spoke to the Corps of Cadets. He was joined by Bush Sr. and Sec. of Defense Robert Gates (former President of Texas A&M).

Here in College Station, the city has been going crazy the past few days. For some reason the main focus has been on how there shouldnt be people protesting. Everywhere obama goes, there are protesters. Even in extremely liberal San Fransisco there were thousands of protesters. Im not sure why A&M should be the one place there are no protesters, but that has been the hot topic the past few days.
