So, we have 8 teams in the top 40? Not too shabby.

What would you guess, 5-6 in the Top 25?

Didn't catch NU at #129.  Sorry for the typo.

Agreed.  The only team outside any Top 100 would be CU and that is coming off an one win season in conference play plus just nine wins on the season.  I don't think NU had quite the subpar season that CU had last year.

Nebraska loses a lot this season but goes from being the smallest team in the nation to what could be one of the biggest, will be very interesting to see what Doc can do

I see that Xavier is no 32 and Wake Forest no 33.  Could the Big 12 have a monster season in Men's Basketball that Big 12 Football enjoyed last season?

Fair enough. #27 and #29 will likely make the top 25 at some point in the season.

BTW, there are only two conference teams to enter the Big 12 Tourney seeded 4th or higher each of the last three seasons.

Yeah I think the top of the league is pretty set.  Will be interesting to see how the middle of the pack teams do.  But I think from the top it might be stronger than it has been for a few seasons.

This K-State team will be better than any I've seen in my lifetime. When I shared that sentiment with an old-timer, he said, "Best K-State team, ever." I think it's hard to compare, but I do believe that there's no ceiling to what this team can do.

Last year's team won 22 games last year, brings back every starter but Darren Kent, adds a top 25 recruiting class, brings in a McDonald's All-American, and a transfer who sat out last season that was a 5* prospect out of high school.
