Big XI Tourney in Okc

It's time to get this started. Texas is the 1 seed and OU is the 2 seed. I actually like the Sooners draw better as Texas has both Kansas and Kansas St. in their pool. Should be fun!

K-State has the league's best starting pitcher, but their other two weekend starters are inconsistent. They'll win tournament games, but it will be hard for them to advance.

K-State is by far in the tougher of the two I feel bc KU is tough (and swept KSU last weekend), Baylor is better than getting broomed in Lincoln and Texa$ is well Texa$ by their own accord. The other side don't get me wrong is tough as nails but I just think the schools on division one make for a tougher ride.

Sorry the Jayhawks took two of three from the "Bat"Cats, scores were KSU 4-1 Game 1 then KU 9-3 & 17-7 (7 inn.). Or were you maintaining that Kansas isn't a tough part of the draw?

KSU gets Baylor next, with Big 12 Pitcher of the Year, A.J. Morris, on the mound.

Baylor beats Texas in Game 2, 14-9.


K-State is set up very well, now with Morris pitching against Baylor tomorrow, and having a very good chance to win the pod.

Obviously that is the toughest pool but Baylor has been playing horrible lately so that is a pretty big surprise. I'll be at the OU game later in primetime.

I'm giddy about my Bears beating Texas today, it's always good to beat the Horns. Sic'em Bears!
Lynch-from what i understand if Baylor beats KSU tomm and UT beats KU then Baylor will be in the Championship game Sunday regardless. Looks like BU is in a great position to win the pod, just got to get past the Cats tomm, whom they beat 2 of 3 earlier this year.

And the opposite is true for K-State. Cats win + Hawks win = KSU in championship.


I don't think this is UT laying up as much as Baylor playing opossum until the postseason, just like basketball.

Yeah Baylor loves Okc. They always have a good run in basketball here too.

I watched OU beat Tech 5-2 last night. The Sooners improved to 41-16 on the year.

Its still the Big XII conference even if Colorado & Iowa State choose not to play ball and Nebraska & OK State didn't make it to OKC. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on something I found funny.
