New Golden State logos and uniforms.  I find it interesting to have a "SF" logo although they play across the Bay in Oakland.

The NBA should have sold to the guy who owns Oracle and really seemed to actually want GS

Agreed...even the naming rights of the arena has Oracle on it.  Golden State is sitting on a gold mine if you asked me.

Apparantly he never bid some are saying, Ellison (Oracle founder) said he bid more than the asking price then lastly someone said his bid came in late. No matter what it was I still wanted to see the NBA bring him into the ownership circle.

Perhaps the other NBA teams do really fear his $$$.

I have to wonder if LBJ can pull that same stunt with Mike Riley.

Probably not since he coaches at Oregon State  ;)

Here I go again with names...I suck with names.  ;D

Riley would have loved to have LeBron as a WR...LeBron was one heck of a WR in HS and I believe he would have gone to the NFL as a first rounder.

I wonder if Pat Riley will keep him under control.

His airness chimes in

That's heavy stuff...in pro sports, the players go against the players.  In college sports the teams go against the teams.

The nice thing about the three headed monster in Miami is that we have not had much of those superteams in the salary cap era.

Honestly I think this will turn off a ton of NBA fans, maybe thats just me.

It depends on the fan.  I read what Larry Bird had to say about LeBron.  What Bird said is that LeBron is a team first type of person on the court more like in the Magic Johnson mold.  Maybe LeBron's ego isn't so big that he couldn't pass the ball to Wade or Bosh.

Paul prefers the Magic over the Knicks.  Are they trying to create two super teams in Florida?

Yeah me too...I love it when great players go against great players.  This AAU business sounds pretty dirty if you asked me.

way to go Mash

I second that!  He put that money he earned into good use and he should be a role model to any future NBA stars on what to do with their money after their playing days are over.

Good find 'Loper.
