Playing time?  Yes.  Start?   We haven't seen evidence of it, yet.

He's too high-maintenance for my liking.

Here we go again...

Brown has done much at all at Miami yet.  I have a feeling that'll be the story after his college career is over...major bust.

Bryce Brown is a different story.

It's starting to look like Bryce will follow his brother.

Bryce has shown more promise than his brother.  Talent wise, I'd be very happy to land him, but other issues would make me a bit cautious.  The Browns are an NCAA infraction or 3 waiting to happen

I'd be willing to bet that A. Brown ends up like Chris Patterson.

Bryce Brown however could be another Darren Sproles with Snyder calling the plays.

Arthur Brown is in Manhattan, and Bryce is not returning to Tennessee. Reports are that Bryce texted coach Dooley to let him know he wasn't coming back. Other reports indicate Dooley was sidestepping their face-to-face meeting all along. Dooley definitely made remarks to the press about not anticipating having Brown on the team.

Be a man and tell him face-to-face.  Quit side-stepping him.

A nice way to replace Daniel Thomas after the season.  How many years will he be able to play at KSU?

I believe he could sit out, and have three years to play three.

If I were Dooley, not only would I have a history of struggling in a weak conference, but I wouldn't grant Brown a release until he had the decency to meet in person.

4life,

Normally I would agree with you, and may still IF it's Brown not manning up and telling him.  I wouldn't even believe Dooley was and/or is giving him the runaround because he would not grant a release for the THIRD string quarterback.  Seems to me like he's just feeding all the other SEC schools MAJOR recruiting ammo to use against him.  JMO.  As far as Brown, it's all speculation.  If he ends up here, I will root for him for a year before he likely goes pro.  I don't see him sticking around anywhere more than a year unless he has a really bad year and then, well we have a pretty good 4* running back already here that wanted to be here all along and I will root for him.

Awww, did I hurt the little douchebag's feelings, so now he gets personal"

Nevermind the comments from another about Dooley giving Brown the runaround, or about Dooley setting himself up for failure...nah, focus on the factual statement about Dooley struggling in a weak conference.  Yes, you're obsessed.

If Dooley doesn't grant a release, the NCAA likely will.

Perhaps.  The guy needs to remove his head out of his ass, and realize that before he starts acting like a diva, he needs to accomplish something.

Some believe Brown did, in fact, meet in person with coach dooley.

schadjoe

   1. Source said Brown hasn't yet been granted release; did in fact ask for it via text about 2 hours ago via txt

Yeah, that's what I'm reading now, too.  He met with Dooley on Saturday and Dooley wanted to meet again on Monday.  Rather than going through it again, Brown texted him and said he definitely wasn't coming back.  Who knows though?  Probably only Dooley and Brown.

In this case, Brown doesn't get much benefit of the doubt.  He's been a diva since high school, and I doubt it's going to suddenly change.

Dooley, a new head coach who wouldn't grant a release for a third string QB, doesn't get much benefit of the doubt here.

You will give Brown every benefit you can because you're a KSU fan and he's most likely transferring to KSU.  The kid is a headcase.  He has issues, and he wants the star treatment before he's really done much of anything.

Save this comment:  He will never be All Big12 (assuming that he transfers to KSU, which is likely).  Nor will his brother be.

Saying any one player won't be All Big-12 is a pretty safe bet.

Was Nebraska's running back from California, who had lots of Heisman hype before he got to Lincoln, ever All Big 12?

Marlon Lucky is the next Adrian Peterson. haha. I still laugh when I think about NU fans saying that.

So, second team counts, too?
