Harvey Jackson from Texas, a DB/LB recruit committed on his trip.  He is a rivals 3 star.

Gabbert family must have it out for the Huskers.  Tyler Gabbert decommits and now has official visit to Mizzou planned for this weekend.

Saw this coming from a mile away.  He never should have committed, and he's never been a solid commit.

Pelini's patience was wearing thin with his wavering ways.

I would rather NU give the scholarship to someone who wants it.  If lil Gabbert can't get away from Missouri, then that is where he should go.

Kody Spano will get his medical redshirt so he will still have 4 years left to play.  That makes the QB position a little less priority this year with Spano, Green, and Martinez (if we need to move him over to the O).

As long as Nebraska gets Owa, I will be happy with this class.

Nebraska loses two 4 star recruits, picks up 2.

4-star mammoth OL Jamarcus Hardrick and 4-star speedster LB Lavonte David, both out of Fort Scott CC in Kansas committed to the Huskers today.

Hardrick was committed to LSU. He is a much bigger recruit than either Baby Gabbert or Curtis Carter, especially with the direction the offense seems headed.

Whirlwind week for the Big Red, and I don't expect it to stop until signing day.  Bo doesn't like to lose.

NU is loading up on Defense and the Line.  I'm will be surprised if we don't lock up one of the top RB recruits next year with the direction the offense is heading.

QB was an issue when Solich was coach.  Going to this style of offense, we may be faced with the same issues.  They just don't make them like Tommy Frazier anymore.

I never believed it the first time I heard it.  His brother said the same thing.  I'll take a 2* player like Ganz over either one of the Gabbert bros.  NU needs a player who wants to be at NU and will fight for the job.  And especially knows how to run the option and put a hit on.

mpalmer,

Is Shariff Floyd still looking at taking a visit to NU?  How close are we with Owa?  Will he definitely announce NU at the AA game?

These are the two guys I would really like to see NU land since the great DL are few.

Floyd won't be visiting.

As for Owa.....who knows.  He'd be silly not to come here, but I'm guessing he'll end up at Oregon.

The question is Would he rather be Ngata or Suh?  Both did excellent in college and Ngata has a great pro career, but was never as dominate and decorated as Suh.

Suh = #1 overall draft pick.........less than 2 years after he was considered a bust.  Coaching, baby, its coaching!

I like our class, Owa would be the icing on top.

I'm fine w/ Owa not coming here. We pulled in 4 very good DE's besides him, as well as a very strong class overall.  He would've simply been the cherry on top.

The more I look at this class the more it reminds me of 92.
