That Stanford kicker is going to be crucified...poor guy. But he lost the game for 'em.

Random thoughts:
I felt awful for Stanford's kicker.
The officials stayed out of the way and let the game play out, we need to see more of that.
The stadium looked full.
Stanford's fans and team seem to not be very douchey.
Blackmon is indeed a stud.
Both defenses looks good considering the high-powered offenses they faced.
The TV announcers were not annoying like Burnt Cheeseburger and Dork Nerdstreet.
I'm happy yet mystified that Game Day chose to set up at the Rose Bowl.

Great win pokes! Ya'll deserve it! I too feel sorry for that kicker and hope he doesn't catch hell from fans/players. It is just a game. The one thing that did bother me last night while watching this game was the damn Stanford band. WTF was all that?

I couldn't really tell much about their band other than that they seemed to have a lot of energy and didn't have any semblance of discipline. Reading the OSU fan boards this morning, people who were at the game are reporting that their band was *highly* obnoxious and classless. They did things like insult the state of Oklahoma during their pre-game performance with bizarre attempts at comedy, and kept right on playing during the post-game awards presentation ceremony.

WOW! They did seem waaaay out of line. Almost like they were on crack or something. I would be embarrassed to be a Stanford fan last night. There were a couple of them that were damn near naked!

The rulebook of football needs to be pared down though, it shouldn't require a law degree to determine what is or isn't a catch. The rulebook has become more confusing than the Bible! I cut the refs a lot of slack because they're forced to apply rules that are filled with inconsistencies, but it is their responsibility to stay out of the way and not become the story.
