So what I had heard was right. Fantastic. As long as we're on the topic of staff changes, I'm still iffy on Raymond.

The secondary improved tremendously as the year went on. We were terribly inexperienced, and Dennard wasn't himself until 2/3 of the way through the season.

People so quickly forget how bad our secondary was in 08 when they talk Sanders v. Raymond.

In 2009 and 2010, Marvin Sanders will have been working with FIVE NFL DBs in the same secondary. That is ridiculous.

True our secondary did improve throughout the season, maybe where I suppose our pass defense lacked was from the defensive line. Maybe I jumped the gun there, with the secondary. I'm quite excited about this new hire, I just hope our defensive line can be more productive without having to have another Suh on the line.

The problem is that our defense doesn't ask our defensive line to be an attacking line. They play their gaps.

The coach(DL coach) that just left Iowa for Nebraska had this gem of a quote that has Iowa fans MAD.

"It's obviously helps when you walk into a high school and you have the N on your chest. I'm looking forward to that. That will be the first time in my career when you're walking into high schools with a name brand on your chest. I'm very excited about that."

Although he should have probably been more careful with his words, anyone who is going to flip out over those comments need to seriously lighten up.

My drive to work is 7 minutes and before their start time, though I guess I could get some USC in the afternoon.

After saying he wasn't going to interview at LSU, Corey Raymond the Huskers secondary coach is gone to the bayou. This was the same coach who was yapping after the bowl game.

See ya. Didn't like the hire in the first place. Who's up then?

Workouts start on March 10th, I've seen they might reshuffle the staff. Shitty timing though.
