I don't feel that Pelini approached Penn State and feel its doubtful that he interviewed, its something we'll never know because Bo won't say which is completely his right. Here is Tom Shatel and Dirk's take on the situation

I'm sure they called him, asked him if he was interested, he said no...end of story. But it gets blown out of proportion, as does his name and any open position every season. As if Nebraska is a stepping stone now because we aren't winning National Titles.

This whole thing is just getting horribly old. We are NEVER going to see success from a program like we saw from Nebraska in the 90s. Nowhere in the country will this happen again. The game has changed, times have changed, so many factors that didn't matter or weren't as big of an issue back then have changed. People need to get over it. I'd rather have an assured 9-10 wins and 2-4 losses than losing seasons, or 5-7 or 8 win seasons. People (many Husker fans) just need to stop bitching and comparing Pelini to Osborne or the Huskers of now to the Huskers of the 90s.
