The Buffs must have known they had the last game in the bag when they saw they were playing a team with the acronym KSU.

CU's last game was against Kent State.

If you mean CU vs. Wichita State, yes that's intriguing because it's another Kansas team and a good matchup.    If you mean CU vs. Washington State, I suppose that's intriguing to CU fans as well because they can measure themselves against another future conference opponent.

I thought all Kansans called WuShox WSU (or Hillside High) and the school from Pullman Wazzu.

Among other sections that DO NOT state this misconceived rule.

Colorado lost a heart-breaker, but Wichita State demolished Wazzu to advance to the final.

Finally got out of my self-imposed exile from this board since there was so much going on right now that I had to get away from the boards.

It has been a great postseason for the Buffs since the lady Buffs made it to the sweet 16 of the 64 team WNIT before falling to future Pac-12 foe USC after being ahead at halftime and USC connected on their three pointers in a big way.

CU turned the ball over too many times against 'Bama and it cost the Buffs a shot at the WSU from Witcha...I was stunned to see the WSU from Witcha whip the WSU from Pullman.  I believe CU was the last Big 12 team standing in any tourney..just AWESOME!  ;)
