Very glad to see Michael Young get the big hit in game two for the Rangers.  He's waited a long time to be in the playoffs, and had not been getting much in the way of hits in this series before that.

Was afraid of that.  Feliz gives up the go ahead run in the top of the 8th.

Come on Rangers, make it not matter with a big 8th.

TBS coverage sucks.

Rays were never in game 1-2.  NEVER.

Rangers were in this until 8th.  Yet constant references to Rangers not feeling sorry for themselves or a few fans leaving in 9th.  @$$hats.

I'm proud of the way the Braves fought their asses off against the Giants, but this team was just way too decimated with injuries.  Our #1 starting pitcher, #4 starting pitcher/long reliever, all star 2nd baseman, hall of fame 3rd baseman, and hall of fame closer were all injured and out for the season.  We were relying on a 20 year old rookie in the heart of our batting order, and a 30 year old journeyman in his FIRST major league season as a starting 2nd baseman.  There was just no reasonable way to expect the Braves to be able to win a series with only one truly quality player in the lineup.  The starting pitching and relief pitching were fantastic in the series, but the offense just didn't have what it takes.

Glad to see the Rangers finally win a series though, they'll be my rooting interest the rest of the way.

Lastly, the Phillies are taking it down this year.  This team was 47-44 the last week of July, 7 games behind the Braves, and they finish the season 97-65 and 6 games ahead of the Braves.  That's a 50-15 streak, a .776 winning percentage.  They've been playing flawlessly for 3 months.
