I know the feeling, until literally 2 minutes ago I thought I had to work during the game, just got it off.  Tailgating from noon to 6 then buddies place for the game, now I am pumped.

Heading to the last chapter of the Arch Rivalry tomorrow AM.  Hopefully it is another easy win like the last 6 years...but I have a bad feeling about it.

And it is only USU. I'm taking off to watch the FSU game.   :D

Illinois decided to end the series after this year.  A home cupcake does a lot more for them financially than a neutral site loss to Mizzou every year.

First off... screw all yous guys...  I have to wait a whole extra day to see my team kickoff!

JK of course, happy opening day to everybody.  It's a perfect Big 12 day so far, I trust you're all hoping Tech makes it a perfect 12 for 12 tomorrow.  Well, assuming Kansas gets their ass in gear, they're losing as of now.

Thoughts so far, impressed with Kansas State and Missouri by beating quality opponents.  Texas should've won bigger than they did, left a good 20 points on the board, power running game for Texas just doesn't work.  They need to be a "pass to set up the run" kind of team.  OU needs to wake the F up, no need to be toying around with Utah State.  Kansas, come on man!  What the hell are you doing?  At no point in a game whatsoever should a Big 12 team be trailing a team from the state of North Dakota, much less the 4th quarter.  Everybody else, good job, you've made the Big 12 proud.

I'm putting NU at #1 in my Week 1 rankings for the Big 12 and most likely #2 in the Big Ten Week 1 rankings.

One of UT's TDs was scored off a fumble recovery...I'll wait for the next game to have a better idea of what UT is like this year.  It's not easy changing offenses so you got to give UT time.

OSU impressed me today...they are whipping WSU.

That's what annoys me about Texas, they keep changing their offense entirely to cater to their to players.  If you're the coach, then go find players who can run the plays you call, don't find players that require you entirely change what you do for each and every game.  Pick a system and stick with it.  That's the difference between national championship contenders and national champions.  One has a system that all the players buy into from day one, one has a arbitrary system that seems to change week by week.

Archi, it could have been worse...you could have been a CU fan with Dan Hawkins...they have changed the offense too many times since he first came to Boulder.  CU's O did move the pretty well today against the Rams so there's some hope.

I downgraded the Big 12 as a whole this year due to the loss of talent and I think I'm still on par on that...it's going to be an interesting season in the Big 12 this year.

I am sooo proud of my Cowboys!! Brandon Weeden looked amazing. He was making some beautiful passes. It was a good way to start the season. At the way guys were being taken off the field in the beginning I wasn't sure either team would have enough players left to finish the game! Lol

It was an eye opening win for me...if OSU does well this season, it's time to lock up Gundy.

when Frsot came in, he had trouble staying consistent in the I.  Dr Tom simply went to the Ace formation to fix the situation.

A formation change is one thing.  Teams change formations every single drive, sometimes on one single play.  It's when you change your entire offensive philosophy that things get out of hand.  Nebraska's offenses in those days had a distinctive MO, Texas' offense today does not have that distinction.

i agree with archi. The only other case here would be if you had injuries that made you.

Say, for example, OU went to a true spread last year because we couldn't run the ball due to our OLine.
