Good for hockey... two major market, historically significant teams finally meet for the Stanley Cup.  Detroit and Pittsburgh had great ratings the last two years and played two great series, this should only add to that.  I like hockey in non-traditional markets, I live in one afterall, but I recognize that no league can survive without its strongest markets being in championship contention.  When the NHL was at it's worst publicity level (around 5-10 years ago), three of the Original 6 franchises were laughingstocks.  Boston, New York and Chicago had some of the worst ownership and worst front offices in sports, now Boston and Chicago are on their game again, and we're not stuck with ALL non-traditional markets or small lesser known Canadian teams fighting for the Cup.  If MLB had the Yankees, Red Sox and Cubs all missing the playoffs every year, they'd be hurting too, but their strongest markets have been their strongest teams and now the NHL can finally say that again.
